We have the best Summer Programs in town, according to the over 800 children who have spent their summers with IACT during the past 9 years. There’s something for every child’s interest, from exciting and creative theme based day camps for 4-8 year olds, to extended production camps and professional led-workshops for ages 8-15. Everyone is welcome to join us for a Summer Festival celebrating Children and Imagination, with workshops, family activities, performances, games, and more!
Day Camps for 4-7 year olds:
Art Attack at IACT! July 5th-9th ($150/week)
Do you love to paint? Make sculptures with clay? Build forts? Create giant outdoor art pieces? Then this is the camp for you! Celebrate the artist you are, explore your imagination, and we’ll end the week with our own art gallery hop!
Shakespeare in the Park! July 12th-16th ($150/week)
Join in our annual performance of Shakespeare in the Park! This is our 3rd year producing this exciting and imagination filled play at Riverside park on Douglas Avenue, and we’d love you to take part with us! You’ll learn a fairy dance, make wings, headpieces, and a wand, and take part in a live production for the public!
Active Kids: Body Mind and Imagination! July 19th-23rd ($150/week)
A week long camp where we’ll explore the great outdoors, play games, arts and crafts, and create our own storybook based on our adventures
Make a Movie Camp! July 26th-30th ($150/week)
Lights! Camera! Action! We will write, direct, and perform in a movie, starring you! This camp was very successful last year, and we even had a red-carpet premiere and media coverage! We hope you’ll join us this year!
Secret Agents and Mystery Detectives August 9th-13th ($150/week)
There’s a mystery to solve, and we need your help. We’ll investigate using invisible Ink, fingerprints, hidden clues, treasure maps, secret codes, and much more!
Broadway Musical Dinner Theatre! Aug. 16th-20th ($150/week)
Do you love to sing, dance, and act? We want you to take part in our Dinner Theatre! We’ll learn songs, dances, and scenes from famous Broadway Shows! Children will perform at the public dinner theatre on Wednesday August 18th at the Kent Theatre, as well as on Friday at the Lunchbox theatre at noon in the studio! The yummiest camp in town!

Performance in Riverside Park: Friday July 16th at 7 pm and Saturday July 17th at 1 p.m.
Film Making Camp! July 19th-30th ($300/2 week)
World premiere red carpet event on Friday July 30th at 7 p.m.
Broadway Mystery Dinner Theatre August 9th- 20th ($300/2 week)
Dinner Theatre Production August 18th at the Kent Theatre (camp will continue until Friday August 20th)
For Teens Only...
Theatre as Leadership: An Intensive for Teens! June 28th, 29th, and 30th plus one week of choice assisting in a summer workshop for young children ($100/week)
“Leadership is ultimately about creating a way for people to contribute to making something extraordinary happen".
You’ll learn mentoring skills, group dynamic games, how to plan a class for children of all ages and abilities, time management, health and safety, and how to use play as a means to bring out the extraordinary in your group. This intensive is a pre-requisite for volunteering in IACT programs and participation will lead to a certificate you can use for resumes, applications for schools, etc.
